“Betwixt” to Screen at 55th Ann Arbor Film Festival

I’m pleased to announce that my experimental film Betwixt will screen at the 55th Ann Arbor Film Festival. I feel honored to be a part of the renowned and longest-running celebration of avant-garde, experimental film/video in North America!

Come join me for opening night March 21st, or the 40 different film programs planned for Festival week through March 26th. There will also be Off the Screen! series of installations, performances, and salons which round out the Festival-week screenings, as well as after-parties.

“The Ann Arbor Film Festival has been around for over 50 years, fascinating, challenging, enchanting, even appalling and often surprising tens of thousands of viewers – some who have been attending for decades. The AAFF is a highlight of Michigan’s cultural year…Our filmmakers are independent, one-of-a-kind artists, and venues like the AAFF are the only place to see their unique works. While we do show familiar genres such as narrative, animation, drama, comedy, thriller, documentary, our movies extend the language of cinema beyond the mainstream and commercial forms that we all know so well…AAFF films can challenge our notions of traditional storytelling and demonstrate a wide variety of points of view, techniques, and aesthetics. So if you are interested in alternative attitudes, uncommon opinions or unusual perspectives, then our Festival is for you.”

Dates:
The 55th Ann Arbor Film Festival runs from March 21 to March 26, and the majority of screenings will take place at the Michigan Theater (603 E Liberty St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104) with additional events and exhibitions at other venues around downtown Ann Arbor.

Tickets & Passes will be available for purchase at www.aafilmfest.org on March 1st.
