Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 6:00pm-7:00pm (CST); 7pm-8pm (EST)
Join artist Eva Lee, whose work is on view in Experimental Light: Alyce Simon & Eva Lee, for a special artist’s talk projected in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium! Lee will be joining us via Zoom for her talk, which will be followed by a small, socially-distanced reception with wine and a Curator-led tour of the gallery. Can’t join in person? We’ll be releasing the details to join us via Zoom for free in advance of the program!
Dear Friends,
Above is the Louisiana Art & Science Museum’s announcement for my upcoming artist’s talk, which I am currently preparing for. It will be a hybrid live and virtual event—a zoom talk projected on the dome of their planetarium! Cool, right? It will be my first time giving such a talk! Am I nervous? Haha, let’s just say I’m very happy to do a run-through with LASM to work out all the tech details before we go live! : )
I look forward to sharing, as curator Lexi Adams puts it, a “deep dive into process and science connection!” Yes, indeed, I’ll dive into being inspired by neuroscience, mind, and the future of AI, followed by an audience Q&A.
Thank you to LASM for this opportunity to have dialogue about what the nature of mind is. Zoom link here Do come join us!
Cheers and hope to “see” you,
Eva
